NAHARIYA, Israel: An Israeli man looks at the damage in a room at his neighbor’s house that was hit from a Katyusha rocket attack fired by Hezbollah guerrillas from southern Lebanon that hit the northern Israeli coastal town of Nahariya, 18 July 2006. A civilian was killed in when a rocket hit a park in the northern Israeli resort of Nahariya in the latest of hundreds of rocket attacks by the Lebanese based Hezbollah guerrillas. Israel rejected calls for a ceasefire today as it pounded a Lebanese army barracks and flattened homes on the seventh day of an assault that has killed at least 240 people and sent tens of thousands fleeing for their lives.
