Changing of the Guards…

by Susan Heagy

It is HaShem who gives and the same who takes away.  Blessed be the Name of the Lord for He supplies all and anticipates our needs.  He knows who should do what, and when.  It is our blessing for those workers He gives and the time they are with us.  As we approach the anniversary of Abundant Hope on September 4th, there are guards on our walls moving on to other assignments, even while God has appointed others to climb up and continue the watch.  God never slumbers nor sleeps, and He always provides that there is never a gap between those sent to watch and work.

Throughout this newsletter you will meet the newest warriors.  Please help all of us in AHI bid a salutation to those moving on…

“Thank you, good and faithful Servants.  You have served well.”

Watchwoman of Prayer on the Wall

For over eight years, Barbara Auman Hill has been praying for and leading intercessors in prayer for AHI.  She has interceded for each staff, volunteer and officer in both Israel and around the world.  She has prayed both for the Survivors and the programs designed to bless them.  She has asked the Almighty for help in situations, healings, emergencies, creative solutions, intervention and funding deficits.  She has been prompted by the Holy Spirit of special needs and forewarned to enter intense prayer.

Barbara has always been quick to give praise and glory to the God who answers our prayers, even before they are put to email or spoken.prayer intercession (Small)

During her time with us she formed and coordinated an intercessor team, careful to bring them into “echad”, One, and unified as they stormed the gates together for answers and victory for AHI.

Barbara has finished her assignment.  She has run her race and it is time for another Watchman/woman to climb up onto the wall as Prayer Coordinator.  Thank you, Barbara, for time well invested and for setting an example for others to follow.  Read her final article “From the AHI Prayer Coordinator.”

“I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.” Habakkuk 2:1

Please pray with us as we seek Elohim to assign His choice for this position.  Barbara will be with us as Coordinator until September 13th.  At that time she will step into the ranks with her fellow Warriors while we see what God has in mind as the next in line for leadership.  In the October 1 newsletter we will announce our next Coordinator.
