Volunteer expectations:
• Visit Survivors, errands for AHI and/or Survivors, where needed
• Must be able to handle full day of physical work, steps and extended walking
Current needs…
- Volunteers 2 weeks to 3 months…
Volunteers serve 35-40 hours a week, Friday and Saturday off; those serving 1-3 months also receive an extra day off a month. Responsible for your own food and personal costs; a donation for lodging is appreciated.
- Translators to English for 2017…
Translators from Russian, Hebrew, German or French would be appreciated. Lodging is
provided; volunteer visas of up to 1 year may be available, renewable for a 2nd year.
- Volunteer Office Assistant in Israel…
Working with Susan and independently in the office at Beit Shalom, Akko, Israel. Filing, some database work, visiting Survivors, tracking survivor information
