January 27, 1945, the day Auschwitz Nazi Concentration Camp was liberated by the Red Army. Most of the prisoners had been taken on a forced march, leaving about 7000 behind. The Red Army was surprised at the find.
January 27 has been designated as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. A virtual service of honor has been prepared hosted by Father’s House Sabbath Congregation in Wales.
The service will be available online Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 7pm.
