There are daily plans, moment by moment, mapped out for each one of us before we were even born. It says so in scripture:
“All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalms 139:16
“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 29:11
I want to share some things that happened on my travels in the last six weeks:
- At a stop light I was not diligent enough and slowly rolled into a truck in front of me. A light bump, nothing more. We pulled to the side and inspected the bumpers- no damage. However, the gentleman called the police and I received my first traffic ticket ever! As a result of the conversations, the owner of the truck asked for information on AHI and so did the policeman! In addition I shared my book with them.
- Traveling through Virginia I stopped at a rest stop. There I saw a couple with a small boy they called “A.J.” Remembering I had a rubber duck in the car from the hotel the night before, I offered the duck to him. A.J.’s parents asked the question of where I was headed and I answered “Israel.” The question then became why and what was I doing. After introductions they asked for information on AHI. I was glad to give it to them- along with a signed copy of “Why is Great-Grandma So Sad?” for A.J.! This sweet couple then offered their prayers and “God bless you for what your organization does for the Survivors in Israel!”
- I was privileged to speak at a Sunday School class at Germantown Baptist in Germantown, TN. A guest arrived at the invitation of the teacher. We had met the year before at the house of a mutual friend. She had been thinking about AHI for the last year and interested to help. We had lunch together and discovered she has skills we at AHI need. At this time we are praying for wisdom on going forward- and to find out what PLAN God has for her!
Each of us has God’s Plan written on our DNA- exactly what we are made to do. God formed us with special intent in mind. Ask what things God has planned for you to accomplish. You will do those things with excellence!
“Who then is the man that fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.” Psalms 25:12
