Did you know…?

…Transnistria, a frigid and barren place in Romania in WWII, is referred to as the Romanian Auschwitz?

Some 410,000, about half of Romania’s Jews, were massacred by their      government.  Even before Germany began their Final Solution Romania starting ‘cleansing’ their country of Jews.  The military dictator, Marshal Antonescu, was known as the ‘Romanian Fuhrer.’

Hundreds of thousands of Jews were driven from their homes without shoes or supplies, and force marched to Transnistria.
They were left without shelter in the bitter cold, no heat, warm clothes or food.  Diseases, forced labor, starvation, and murders resulted in death by the hundreds daily.
