We are warriors until we draw our final breath. We are never finished with our fight. King David was a man after God’s Heart and he was known as a warrior; called to stand and fight.
Being a warrior takes discipline; it will cost us some things we want to do. Our part as God’s warrior is to win- through our spiritual warfare.
Warrior’s win victories… We are not warriors or soldiers just to have that status; we are warriors to win. A true warrior understands the value of friends. The people we choose to be around us are vitally important.
Soldiers enlist for love of God and country; but they lay down their lives for their friends. (Matthew 5:43)
God’s commands give us power & strategy to be rid of our enemy.
How? “If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat…you will heap burning coals…” Proverbs 25:21-22
In actual war we are forced to fight. We must protect ourselves and others. But when you have a choice, warm them up as best you can and make them your friends!
