Beit Shalom Happenings in Israel!

* A tea at Beit Shalom for Survivors- another one! Our goal is to make this a 20150719_171713 (Small)regular event inviting different Survivors each time.

* A concert for Survivors- in our own house! Linda and Paul Montez from Texas provided beautiful music.  Their friend, Kim, and our volunteers from Siberia, Elena and Galina, made the event beautiful and memorable.

* Lars and Gitte of Denmark managed Beit Shalom for two months and did a remarkable job! Directing the Volunteers, keeping the house, sharing their knowledge of Jewish roots… they have gone home and we will certainly miss them!

* We welcome Brecht from Holland again. God has blessed her with a gift of compassion for visiting the Survivors.

* Hannah Lee, from South Africa, has arrived as House Manager and will remain through December. Having been here before she has begun her duties and visiting Survivors with our Russian translators.  If you can, stop in to say hello!

* Doug and Kris- welcome back! So glad you could come volunteer with us again!

* When are YOU coming? Contact us for open dates and come stay with us- you will be glad you came to volunteer with AHI!

* Beit Shalom is being sold by the owners. We have been renting the house for three years, lodging for many volunteers and hosting events for the Survivors.  Situated within the neighborhood of many of the Holocaust Survivors, we can walk to their homes.   Public transport is so close we can go visit Survivors anywhere in Israel. A perfect location. Our need to remain is evident. Our course to make that happen is in the hands of God, and those who support us.  Please pray for the funding to purchase this home.  Our work here is not done.  Please help us continue to bring unconditional love to the Survivors of the Holocaust. To help contact us: hope@ahi-il.org or call 717-557-5775 Ask how to help us purchase Beit Shalom.
