They Survived the Holocaust…

This section features the true experiences of Holocaust Survivors we see and visit today.  This is to fulfill their requests,

“Remember us!  Tell others of our experiences so we are not forgotten!”

Roza

Roza was in the Chechelnik Ghetto from 1941-44 with her father, mother and sister.  After they were liberated her mother died.  Her father remarried and had a son.

Roza moved to Israel with her son.  They lived in different cities so she moved closer.  Then he moved away.  She is lonely and fearful.

When we first met Roza she told us her war experience and then told of an injury to her shoulder.   She had a torn rotator cuff and went to the doctor.  He wanted to operate.  Instead she asked us to pray for healing, which we did.

One week later Susan was downtown in the merkaz (center) when she heard someone calling “Suzannah! Suzannah!”  Turning around she saw Roza on the far side of the courtyard.  She grinned and lifted her arm above her head- she was healed!

To this day Roza shares the story of how we prayed and she was healed.  We have seen her at meetings telling other Survivors how prayer healed her then and she is still healed.  Because of her “word of testimony” we have been asked by other Survivors to pray for their health too.
