Paris? Their destination was Auschwitz [Death Camp]. These included Jews who had found refuge in France before the outbreak of war.
The deportations from France continued for two and one half years. Diligent records recorded 6,222 German Jews, 2,127 Austrian Jews and 500 more Austrian Jews listed as ‘stateless.’
